There are many benefits to NAPA membership—the Monthly Bundle of papers by members; the Mailing Bureau that distributes your paper to all members; a Quarterly Journal, the The National Amateur; an Annual Convention in July. For writers there's a Manuscript Bureau that will assist with placing manuscripts and a Bureau of Critics to comment on the work and its presentation. There's also an annual Laureate competition in a number of categories.

However, the greatest benefit is the people of NAPA. Whether through correspndence, the Convention, regional meetings or the Internet, expect to make some very good friends.
